Super Rugby Week 6 Betting Tips
We have Super Rugby Week 6 betting tips for all five games, including the must-see Blues vs Crusaders on Saturday night.
- Super Rugby Week 6 Betting Tips
- Moana Pasifika vs Chiefs
- Highlanders vs Reds
- Blues vs Crusaders
- Waratahs vs Brumbies
- Force vs Drua
Moana Pasifika vs Chiefs
The Chiefs are heavy favourites to beat Moana Pasifika despite only beating the Blues narrowly last week. It was a hairy situation for the Chiefs, who are the best New Zealand team, but they haven’t been at their best in 2025.
Moana Pasifika is a team improving with every game, and they have already pulled off some upsets. Getting a +17.5 line is generous, and we think bookmakers aren’t giving the home side enough credit.
Back Moana Pasifika to cover the spread and expect late money to come for them.
Highlanders vs Reds
It’s a little surprising to see the Highlanders listed so short at $1.44 to beat the Reds. We rate the Reds just as good as the home side, so we’re taking the $2.65 for the Queensland-based team and the +4.5 spread.
Punters have struggled to know what to expect from the Highlanders and Reds, but there isn’t any value with the Highlanders. $1.44 is far too short for our liking, and although the Reds aren’t as good on the road as they are at home, turning down $2.65 is tough to do for a team looking to make ground in the Australian Conference.
Blues vs Crusaders
Super Rugby fans and punters have been waiting for the Blues vs Crusaders rematch, and we’re backing the Blues to prevail. They should have won last week against the Chiefs, and if it wasn’t for a lack of finishing ability, they would have got it done.
Bookmakers have the Blues at $1.80 to beat the Crusaders. The Crusaders have won their last two games with ease against inferior teams, which is concerning for Blues’ backers, but the Blues roster is much better.
Playing at Eden Park is a positive and we’re prepared to back the home team to make ground on the Chiefs in the NZ Conference.
Waratahs vs Brumbies
There has been good betting interest in the Australia Derby between the Waratahs and Brumbies, but it could be a one-sided game. The Brumbies are the superior team, and that’s reflected in Super Rugby betting markets. They’re a $1.37 favourite, but the line is only -6.5, and it’s worth taking.
We haven’t been impressed with what the Waratahs have produced over the last few years, and we don’t see them getting out of it anytime soon. Momentum and class are with the Brumbies, who could win by double digits.
Force vs Drua
The Force vs Drua won’t be the most entertaining game of Week 6, but it could be a good opportunity for punters to make money betting on the Force. They play much better at home, and the Drua don’t often enjoy travelling.
Flying to Perth isn’t ideal for the Fijian team, who are +3.5 underdogs. The Force aren’t always a good bet, but on this occasion they are, so take the home team to score a much-needed win.
